Welcome to OES Accommodation. We hope you will soon feel at home and discover your way around. The accommodation management team are here to help you settle in and sort out any queries you may have. This document tells you everything you need to know about the accommodation. Please take your time to read through the information. Living on campus means living in a specially designed and managed residence on the campus where you study. When you live in one of our University residences, you’ll have all the convenience of living close to teaching facilities, with the community spirit of a small village – allowing you to take full advantage of campus life and a vibrant student social scene.
GUtech Student Accommodation aims to provide appropriate accommodation in a friendly environment. Rules and regulations are very important to ensure the smooth operation of our residence.
There are three main buildings in our accommodation, namely, Ahlan, Sahlan and Marhaban. It means WELCOME. Ahlan and Sahlan are both allocated for GUtech students. Marhaban is allocated for staff, interns, fly in professors and visitors. In 2016 we opened a new building for male students.
Our rules and regulations are built around a few principles:
- Behave in a manner that shows respect for your fellow residents.
- Respect the building you live in and it’s furnishing so that future residents can enjoy it.
You are required to sign an undertaking to accept these regulations before admission to residence.
