- By renewing your stay in GUtech accommodation, the booking fee/security deposit shall be carried over to the Spring Semester of the current academic year.
- Renewal of stay in GUtech accommodation constitutes a renewal for the duration of one semester only.
- Where a student/tenant chooses to leave accommodation after renewing, before the end of the semester, the booking fee/security deposit shall be forfeited/not be refunded.
- When a student/tenant chooses to leave accommodation after renewing the tenancy agreement, but before the end of the semester, the full amount of the accommodation fee becomes instantly due.
- When a tenant chooses to cancel the tenancy agreement before the start of the contract, 50% of the booking fee only and full amount of the rent paid shall be refunded, within ten working days from cancelling the booking online through the housing system. The refund shall be transferred to the bank account of the tenant.
- When a tenant chooses to cancel the tenancy agreement after the start of the contract, the booking fee becomes non-refundable and the tenant must settle 50% of the contract balance immediately.
